The term e-commerce marketplace is similar in reference to the physical marketplace, Flea Markets, etc where a collection of vendors sell, or hawk assorted goods to the visiting customers. Our marketplace is essentially that.
Registration is required to complete any sale from our marketplace, but you can checkout as a Guest on the payment processor's site.
You can find all types of products with varying conditions on our marketplace. Conditions ranging from New to Salvage quality. We state the condition of the product your are buying, and when not stated, you can ask the vendor to tell you by sending the vendor the information from the product screen. Your money will be refunded if there is a misstatement of product condition to you, for example, sending you a used/preowned product when the product was listed as New.
Yes, we do have buyer and merchant protection, which is also enhanced by our payment processing company, actually one of the toughest in the industry.
Yes. We have different levels of membership, each attempting to accommodate the needs of particular merchants/vendors based on the size of your inventory, meaning the estimated number of products you like to keep on-hand at any particular time. Annual and monthly plans are available, annual plans have more value. For more information, see Become A Vendor
Yes, you can cancel your membership at any point if the membership plan you chose is monthly, otherwise you could wait until the end of the term to expire, and not renew. Usually, serious merchants seldom worry about this issue because, it a full-time job, or engagement for them. They may entertain such decisions if they have to close their stores, or move to another marketplace. We are able to work with any merchant.
We collect taxes for purchases made through our marketplace on behalf of the states from which the sales originate. We are bound by law to periodically remit all taxes collected for any particular state to that state, and country. There is penalty for failing to remit these taxes. Vendors selling from mRoadSide Marketplace do not have to bother about Sales Tax management, we handle that, but you are responsible for your own income taxes.
Yes, your information is safe whether as vendor, or a customer. We don't share information with any company. We have systems
monitoring our site for unauthorize access, and during transactions. Credit card and bank information is collected by our processing companies, and do not share these data. Your name and shipping address are kept in our database to help manage your relationship with us. Review our Privacy Policy.
Almost every consumer product, and some industrial that are allowed to be sold to the general public. Some require that you have the training, and a license to sell, and some require special marking on the packaging to ship. You can find more about this topic when you become a vendor. We provide some selling aids to help reduce the hassle you may otherwise face.
Regular folks who just want to sell the personal property they no longer have any use for do not have to be bothered by rules professional merchants have to adhere to, unless the item you are trying to sell is classified as hazardous, or dangerous good. We will let you know when you post your product if your product is not included in our allowed products data sheet.
Yes. We have tools that will help you manage every aspect of your product stocking, selling, and payment activities.
Generally, the merchant/vendor handles their own shipping, but we have implemented some solutions that would make shipping, and tracking your shipping an easy chore. You still have to buy your packaging supplies, and we handle the source of shipping labels. Any returns come to the address from which you shipped the product, or, other locations you specified the product to be returned to.
Our system can calculate shipping charges to almost every country in the world, and no restriction to any particular country. The exceptions you may face, as a shipper, are some rules by the carriers (USPS, FEDEX, AND UPS in the US) imposed by the United States government, and the geopolitical situations in some parts of the world, where there may be civil war, or other
political unrest that may delay, or prevent your shipment to a customer to be completed. The carriers do flag some of these countries, and we will be posting information to all registered vendors and customers to announce such cautions.
You can open more than one store, typically to sell different niche, or mass merchandising products. Each store you open is considered another store requiring separate membership. We have a membership for heavy hitters, which allows you to post up to 500 products into your store, and if you need more space, we can always be of assistance.
**NOTE: During the Welcoming/Trial period you are allowed to only open a single store.
You are welcomed to open a store at our marketplace if you are already operating a store at another marketplace. We can assist if you want to migrate your products. We want to be a part of your success.
Currently, only English is available, but we are planning to add several other languages in the future, and if you open a store now,
in English, you will be able to convert your store to the language of your choice.

Product Condition is a chart generally provided by a merchant to buyers to eliminate any ambiguity from stated product conditions. We sell products with varying conditions from New to Salvage, the guide or table below will describe our marketplace product conditions;
1) mRoadSide Marketplace may from time to time review and update our policies regarding the Product Conditions Guide. The customer is able to access a purchased product if it meets the specifications outlined above, When in doubt contact us, or return the product free.
